We’re placed in the only spot in the City from where you can find EASY connections to ANYWHERE in and outside Bucharest – the train station, both airports, all the places to visit in Bucharest , as well as to the Snagov lake and the Mogosoaia palace.The Midland 2 is to be found in PIATA ROMANA , one of the 3 central squares in Bucharest ( Piata Romana , Piata Universitatii and Piata Unirii) which means that everything you need is conveniently placed AROUND the hostel – a fruit and vegetables market, 3 supermarkets of which one is open 24/7, banks, restaurants , clubs and bars, bus and METRO stops. The French Embassy is right across the street so there is no safer place in town.

And still it is a remarkably quiet area even if it’s in the center! "The Midland Youth Hostel 2" sleeps 33 in 3 mixed dorms (6, 10 and 14 beds) a single room and a double room. There is also a huge lounge with a skylight and a big fully furnished kitchen. In the lounge you will have access at all times at a flat screen TV with dozens of national and international channels, a DVD player, a projector ( sometimes we have movie nights) ,a shelf with books of all kinds and languages ( it's a book exchange service). The kitchen is provided with a coffee filter, an electric cooker, 2 microwave ovens and a big fridge. You will have here free internet access and breakfast is included. There is air conditioning in all rooms. There are 3 showers, 3 toilets,, 2 sinks, 2 regular mirrors and a huge one in one of the bathrooms, as well as a basket with common goods where you can usually find shampoo, shower gel, soap, shaving foam, deodorant etc.
