To put it briefly: High Class Hostel Suceava is located in a nice quiet residential street, very close to the main central Square: Piata 22 Decembrie 1989, just 5 minutes walk from the main attractions (museums, restaurants, pubs, fruit and vegetable market...). Suceava used to be a nice city, until the systematization plans came. Old buildings were smashed and now there is a Communist "Casa de Cultura" (Culture House), a 10-storey grey concrete block of flats and - of course - McDonald's smack bang in the center. You will not need McDonald's, since there are nice & cheap reastaurants nearby and you can also cook in the hostel kitchen. And if you can't cook, we can teach you how to cook some home made Romanian food! :-))) Maybe it is time to forget all the gloomy stories you've heard about Romania. You won't find here any vampires grinning their sharp teeth at street-corners. Neither will you meet Ceausescu's spirit strolling in town at midnight. Disappointed? We hope not, because there are a lot of real things to be discovered here: unforgettable landscape, 500-years old monasteries and churches that seem embroidered in stone, old architecture still looking great. Plus an air so fresh, that you'll feel like canning it and taking it back to your country. However, if history classes were not your favorite ones, or if simply you are not the biggest fan of nature trips, we can take you to some fancy clubs and discos.
